MY FAVOURITE LOCATIONS IN CAPE TOWN

Bakoven Beach is a stunning spot with two small beaches and lots of boulders with the most amazing views of Lion’s Head and the twelve apostles.

Maiden’s Cove is one of my ultimate spots as the views of Camps Bay and the sea are unmatched. The spots are easy to access and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot just above so even at sunset you are almost always able to find parking which is rare in Cape Town.

Glen Beach and Camp’s Bay sit next to each other and are divided by a beautiful boulder. Glen beach is usually quieter than Camps Bay but both are a great location choice.

Chapman’s peak Drive is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. There are multiple parking and picnic spots to stop at along the route to give a nice variation in backdrops. You can either start from Noordhoek or Hout Bay and drive along. There is a toll fee of R68.

This spot is a wonderful quiet more private location that offers amazing views of the Twelve Apostles as well as Lion’s Head. It is easy to access via the parking for Clifton 4th beach.

Signal Hill is the best spot for a wide variety of backdrops. You can see the CBD, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and Sea point from one place. There are a few parking spots to choose from and it is best to not park at the very end as there is usually a traffic jam once the sun has set.

Llandudno is a beautiful dog friendly beach with lots of space. It also has stunning boulders on the end which make for a wonderful backdrop. The parking can be limited so make sure to get there well before the start of your shoot.
