I often get asked for recommendations for coffee shops, so I decided to share a few of my favourites. Instead of always working from home I like to get out and find new places to work and meet with clients. In Cape Town, we definitely are spoilt for choice.

Each of these place has something unique to offer and I am excited to share them with you all!

A down to earth, creative spot

Each time I have worked at Ground Art I have been met with friendliness and they have been very accommodating. They have a wall dedicated to showcasing up and coming artists. It's a wonderful spot to meet up with clients .The internet is lightning fast and there are USB and conventional plug points. The staff are friendly and their attention to detail is amazing.

A local gem

After finishing school I worked at the original Starlings in Belvedere Road for a few months. That place is close to my heart. So when I saw Starlings Locale had opened right down the road from me I was really excited. It has been a great place to work and enjoy a cup of Origin coffee. With friendly staff and new items to browse from A Love Supreme it's been a firm favourite. Although parking is limited once you get a spot the stress will fade away as you step into this creative space. My favourite place to sit is at the bar by the window.

A Coffee shop with a view

This cafe has the most incredible view of Table Mountain. The best places to sit and work are on the comfy couches or at the bar by the window. They serve Origin coffee and the Latte art is super creative. There is no wifi but this actually helps when I want to edit without distraction. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great.

A trendy working space

This place really has it all. My favourite coffee, fast wifi, plenty of plug points and a beautiful space in which to work. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a great place to get together with friends to work as there is lots of space. The staff are really friendly and there is plenty of parking which is a big plus.

The Mill Cafe:

A cosy winter spot

I remember when I first walked into Blue Cafe and noticed a staircase leading downstairs. I am naturally curious so I asked if there were more tables downstairs. This is how I found one of my favourite places to work. The walls are littered with ceramic plates with puns and sayings written on them. I just love character of the space and a big bonus is the lightning fast fibre wifi.
