COUPLE SHOOT LOCATIONS

Are you are celebrating your engagement, anniversary or simply want to document the current season you are in as a couple? Below are some options to get you thinking of a location for your shoot!

  1. YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO SPEND TIME TOGETHER

I love it when couple’s choose a place that is special to them. It could be the place you went for your first date or a place you go often together. It’s also great to plan around and activity you enjoy like going for ice-cream or a cycle along the promenade.

2. THE WATERFRONT

Watching the Waterfront come to life at sunrise is always such a treat! Although you could shoot here at sunset it’s often really busy. I promise the early start is well worth it for that magical sunrise light.

3. YOUR FAVOURITE COFFEE SHOP

Cape Town has so many amazing spots to choose from. This is a great option if the weather isn’t great outside or we need to shoot in the middle of the day.

4. YOUR HOME

Having a shoot in your home is a wonderful way to preserve memories of your first home together. I love the spontaneous moments that arise when people are comfortable in their own space. If you are a bit shy of people being around while your shoot is happening then this is a great option.

5. SILO DISTRICT

The perfect industrial looking space with so many cool architectural features to play with. I always love shooting in the Silo District.

6. DEER PARK OR GLEN FOREST

If you are looking for a forest setting these two are great options. I love them because there are so many cute dogs that walk past while shooting.

7. THE PLACE YOU GOT ENGAGED

I know not everyone is keen on a photographer at the proposal. So why not return to the place you got engaged for a shoot.

8. CHAPMANS PEAK

Lastly but not least is Chapman’s Peak. It never disappoints. The view of the sun setting over Hout Bay is always spectacular. With views of the sea and mountains it really is incredible.
