It was such a privilege to travel back to Mina's in Magoebaskloof for Laura and Daniel's wedding.
JENNY AND CHRIS
Jenny and Chris's wedding was just the perfect start to a very exciting season ahead. They both claimed to hate the camera but I think the evidence proves otherwise. They are so in love and it was so special that Jenny's dad married them.
These two are surrounded by so much love and it was so wonderful to see their two amazing families coming together.
Wishing you two all the best for this exciting journey with God at the centre. Thank you for allowing me to witness and document the start of your journey together as Mr and Mrs.

TANIA AND WILLEM
Tania and Willem's "rainy" engagement shoot was so much fun to capture. We walked down to the rocks at Bakoven and it began to rain lightly. I am so glad that they decided to embrace the weather. There is something quite magical about being besides the sea in the rain. It feels like I have known Tania and Willem for ages. Their love for one another is so evident and you can just see how much fun they have together. I can't wait to capture their wedding in March.
Celice and Bernie were married surrounded by their incredible community of friends and family at Mina's Art Cafe in the Magoebaskloof, Limpopo. What an honour to explore such a beautiful part of the country and capture such an amazing couples wedding. Their down to earth nature was reflected in the amazing venue they chose. Surrounded by lush forests and spectacular views every way you looked.
Meeting these two just made me so grateful for the kind of clients I get to work with. I am so excited to shoot their wedding next year! We took a quick stroll around the block and once again the Bo-Kaap did not disappoint. The shoot was full of laughter and the love between these two is really fun to capture!
Kristin and Josh were married in the beautiful chapel at Bishops surrounded by friends and family. Josh's dad led the very special ceremony. One of the most moving moments was when the siblings sang a song of blessing over the couple. These two are such a beautiful pair both inside and out with a firm foundation of faith. Wishing you two all the best for your adventure together!
NATE AND JESS
HOMEY COUPLE SHOOT
Jess and Nate welcomed me into their home and what a beautiful home these two have created together. Their home is full of plants and special details. Jess is incredibly talented and hand painted the Monstera leaves on the walls of their kitchen. Have a look at more of her amazing work at Watercolour Heart .
We chatted over tea and ate the most incredible orange chocolate tart. I can't explain how much I love capturing couples in their homes and the wonderful natural moments that result. There was so much joy and laughter between these two and it was lots of fun to capture.
These two got engaged at Kirstenbosch, so naturally they decided that it would be the location for their Engagement shoot. I love when couples decide on a location that has meaning to them. Each time I visit Kirstenbosch I am reminded of the incredible beauty Cape Town has to offer, right on our doorstep. Wishing Eloise and Ruan a wonderful journey ahead together.
CORINA AND MATT
A COUPLE SHOOT AT HOME
I so enjoyed my time spent with Corina and Matt. I captured some sweet moments for them in their home.
It really is the simple moments that count, having a cup of tea, dancing in the kitchen and chatting about their days. There was a lot of laughter and these two have such a beautiful love for one another.
I am so happy when couples decide to choose a location that is meaningful to them. Emily and Pete both have membership cards to the Two Oceans Aquarium and what an incredibly magical place it was for a shoot. It was pretty special to have some ragged tooth sharks and sting rays in the background of the photos.
Emily and Pete were so much fun to hang out with and I just loved capturing their moments of wonder as they experienced the exhibits together.
We later moved to the new Silo District at the Waterfront and experienced the most insane views from the top of the Silo Hotel.
A big thanks to Renée Leeuwner from the Aquarium for making this shoot possible.
Shae and Luke are new friends who feel like old ones. It was so much fun spending time with them and showing them a few of my favourite spots in Cape Town.
The first stop was the Bo- Kaap. It literally felt like at any moment we would be welcomed in for tea. There was just such an amazing sense of community. The second stop was along Tafelberg Road which has the most incredible views of the city.
At the last stop, Luke brought along his guitar and sang one of the songs he had written for Shae. I love it when couples are themselves and incorporate something unique into their shoot.
The lovely Justin and Amy were married under the trees at the incredible venue of Die Woud in Caledon. The day was full of heartfelt moments and what truly stood out was the way in which they honoured their families. Wishing you two all the best for the adventure of marriage ahead.
The images were taken whilst second shooting for the amazing Hayley Takes Photos. Follow the link below to see her beautiful website.
Sunrise is just the most wonderful time of day and the benefit of winter is that the sun gets up just a little later. Kristin and Josh were game, despite the early start and freezing temperature.
We headed to the Waterfront and were greeted by the most incredible sunrise. To warm up we stopped at Native Espresso Bar ,which is well worth a visit.
It was so great to get to know them better. Wishing you two all the best in this exciting engagement season!
I met these two at the very first wedding I ever shot and it was such an honour to capture their special day. They were married at the beautiful Zorgvliet Wine Estate in Stellenbosch. They are such a down to earth and fun couple. It is so clear to see the deep love they have for one another and the deep friendship they have.Wishing you two all the best for the journey of marriage ahead
NIKKI AND JASON
Nikki and Jason were married in the beautiful little town of Greyton, surrounded by their friends and family. The town holds a special place in their hearts and I am pretty sure it has stolen the hearts of everyone who attended. The emphasis of the day was celebrating their love of God and each other. It was so special to capture the start of their incredible adventure together.

JAMES AND SHARON
Sharon and James were married in the old cellar at Fynbos Estate. They are two of the kindest people and they have such a wonderful love for one another. The day was filled with so many moments of joy and love between friends and family. You can see that these two are surrounded by the most incredible community. Wishing you two all the best for the start of this incredible adventure together.
